RELEX Group acted as a partner of the 3rd Masters Winter School held by the Applied Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science Department of the Voronezh State University (February 18-19, 2015). Konstantin Seleznyov, Lead Software Engineer of RELEX, and Candidate of Technical Science, shared his professional experience with the students.
Konstantin spoke about different approaches to solving challenging tasks in data processing, focusing on fuzzy search methods, working with morphological dictionaries, image search and scanning text document streams, giving examples of tasks successfully implemented by the RELEX team.
Another report made by a RELEX representative focused on import substitution in IT, advantages and disadvantages of various approaches, and the role of government agencies and software developers in this process.
